Scope:
Applies to all staff, students, and official representatives of the College in:
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp)
- Press, media, and public communications
- Photography, videography, and publications involving students
Key Principles:
- Professionalism & Cultural Sensitivity
- All content must reflect academic values, moral standards, and cultural appropriateness.
- Students must appear modestly dressed; individual close-up images require written parental consent.
- Content must focus on education, empowerment, and service—not entertainment or appearance.
- Approval & Oversight
- All public communication must be approved by the Media In-Charge and Principal before posting.
- Press releases, interviews, or student photographs require explicit authorization from the Principal.
- Language & Tone
- Use English or Urdu with polite, neutral, and grammatically correct language.
- Avoid political, sectarian, or controversial statements.
- Digital Communication
- No staff-student personal chats or sharing of private student information.
- Official WhatsApp groups or online communication must follow parental consent guidelines.
- Crisis & Media Management
- Negative or misleading content must not be responded to individually.
- The Principal and Director will manage all official crisis communication.
- Confidentiality & Safety
- Student records, classroom images, and internal communications are strictly confidential.
- Unauthorized sharing may lead to disciplinary action.
Monitoring & Compliance:
- Media In-Charge maintains a record of all posts.
- The Principal reviews communication quarterly to ensure compliance with this policy.
