Purpose
To ensure that all study, educational, cultural, or recreational trips organized by Yasmin Bibi Girls College are safe, educational, culturally appropriate, and well-supervised.
Scope
Applies to all students, staff, and accompanying personnel participating in college-organized trips, whether local, inter-city, or out-of-province.
Trip Planning & Approval
- All trips are pre-approved by the Principal (and Director for out-of-city trips).
- The purpose, destination, duration, and safety measures are carefully planned.
- Parents/guardians are required to provide written consent for their child’s participation.
Student Participation
- Only registered students with parental consent can join trips.
- Students must attend a pre-trip briefing covering discipline, behavior, and dress code.
- Students must remain with the group at all times.
- Students must maintain cultural decorum in dress, speech, and behavior.
Supervision & Safety
- Each group of 10–12 students is supervised by a responsible female faculty member.
- First aid and emergency contacts are available throughout the trip.
- Vehicles are checked for safety before departure.
- Headcounts are conducted at all stops and upon return.
- Any emergency or misconduct is immediately reported to the Principal.
Code of Conduct
- Respect staff, peers, and institutions visited.
- Unauthorized photography, social media posts, or leaving the group is not allowed.
- Failure to follow rules may result in disciplinary action or suspension from trips.
Financial Notes
- Any payments for trips are collected through the college office to ensure transparency.
- Parents will be informed of trip costs in advance.
Post-Trip Reporting
- Trip outcomes, learning experiences, and notable achievements may be shared in newsletters or on the college website.
